Super TestCar reviews - Mitsubishi - Pajero - GLS 5-dr wagonMitsubishi modelsSuspension14 Feb 2001 By BRUCE NEWTON THE NM Pajero uses independent, double wishbone coil spring front suspension. The previous model used torsion bars rather than coil springs in its independent front suspension system. Rear suspension is an independent, coil-spring multi-link design and increases wheel travel by 30mm compared to the previous Pajero. Ground clearance is also greater than the previous model by 20mm. Both front and rear suspensions are attached to the Pajero's main structure by sub frames to isolate bumps and vibrations.
