Super TestCar reviews - Volvo - XC70 - SE 5-dr wagonVolvo modelsLuggage1 Aug 2001 By BRUCE NEWTON THIS is an area where all Volvo wagons shine, including the Cross Country. The squared-off rear-end combined with a wide, flat floor with few intrusions ensures plentiful load space. The rating with the rear seats in place is 485 litres, growing to 1641 litres when they are folded. All seats bar the driver's seat can be folded completely flat, enabling loads as large as mountain bikes to be carried - without having to detach the front wheel. The rear seat comes standard as a 60/40 split-fold, both sections individually flipping and folding for added versatility. There's a 12-volt power outlet in rear, as well as one the rear of the centre console and in the dash. Four load hooks help tie luggage down and there are three child seat retention hooks. Did you know?A three-section (40/20/40) rear seat is optional (pictured), the centre section enabling long items such as skis to be carried while four adults still travel in comfortAll car reviewsAlfa Romeo Abarth Alpine Alpina Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chevrolet Chery Citroen Chrysler Dodge Cupra Ferrari DS Ford Fiat FPV Foton GWM Great Wall Holden Haval HSV Honda Hyundai Hummer Isuzu Infiniti Jeep Jaguar Lamborghini Kia LDV Land Rover Lotus Lexus Maserati Mahindra McLaren Mazda Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG Mini MG Nissan Mitsubishi Peugeot Opel Proton Porsche Renault Ram Rover Rolls-Royce Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla Volvo Volkswagen |
