Super TestCar reviews - Volvo - XC70 - SE 5-dr wagonVolvo modelsControls1 Aug 2001 By BRUCE NEWTON FROM the moment you take a seat and start operating the controls, this could only be a Volvo, with its centre vertical console that slopes toward the driver and presents a huge array of buttons that seem daunting at first, but are easily mastered within a short time. There's variable intermittent wipers, an auto-dipping rear view mirror and a driver's footrest, warning chimes and remote bootlid opener.
