Electronic Stability Control (esc)

Corrects front and rear-wheel slides by applying brake pressure (and sometimes even throttle) to one or more wheels independently, and more quickly than even a highly-skilled driver.

This computer-based technology has been proven to be one of the best crash-prevention devices ever invented.

Mandatory in all new cars sold in Australia from 2013, and all new models introduced from 2011.
