Under Australian law, all cars are tested over a set computer-generated course and the results are what car-makers and publications use so that cars can be fairly compared, whereas we would previously produce our own test results, which varied according to how and where the car was driven. Figures are produced for a Highway Cycle and a City Cycle, but the Combined Cycle is generally the best figure for comparison. |
