Toyota removed the Camry name from the V6-engine Vienta to distance it from the mainstream four-cylinder range.
Aiming to snare the legion of Toyota Cressida buyers disenfranchised by that model’s ’93 demise, the VXV10 Vienta’s read: CSi manual and auto, CS/X auto, Touring manual and auto, and auto only Grande, the latter usurping the Ultima.
Like the 2.2L Camry range, “Getaway (’96) and “Intrigue” (‘97) Vienta editions also appeared.
