Super TestCar reviews - Ford - Falcon - XR6 Turbo sedanFord modelsDash19 Dec 2002 A TOTALLY redesigned dashboard is the highlight of a comprehensive cabin facelift for Falcon. The two XR6 variants use the same basic set-up as the XT, which means the entry level version of the Interior Command Centre along with manually operated air-conditioning and a single-disc CD player. The previous model's blue-faced instruments, 240km/h speedo and now redundant Tickford logo have gone, replaced by a standard Falcon layout specced-up with imitation-metal rimmed dials, large and small XR logos on both the speedo and tacho, blue backlit illumination and a 260km/h speedo. The instrument panel in AU XRs was equipped with additional readouts - voltage and oil pressure gauges - but these have not been included as part of the BA package.
