Super TestCar reviews - Mazda - 626 - Classic sedanMazda modelsBrakes26 Feb 2001 By P TIBBLES THE Classic 626's anti-lock braking system is a four-sensor three-channel arrangement, which means the rear wheels are paired in terms of their anti-lock function. Not as effective as a full four-channel system, the arrangement nevertheless works because the most of the stopping power usually comes from the front wheels. The rear-wheel sensors detect lockup on either wheel, then activate the system to prevent both wheels from locking. Did you know? The 626 uses ventilated discs at the front, with solid discs at the rearAll car reviewsAlfa Romeo Abarth Alpine Alpina Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chevrolet Chery Citroen Chrysler Dodge Cupra Ferrari DS Ford Fiat FPV Foton GWM Great Wall Holden Haval HSV Honda Hyundai Hummer Isuzu Infiniti Jeep Jaguar Lamborghini Kia LDV Land Rover Lotus Lexus Maserati Mahindra McLaren Mazda Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG Mini MG Nissan Mitsubishi Peugeot Opel Proton Porsche Renault Ram Rover Rolls-Royce Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla Volvo Volkswagen |
