As the world’s fastest and most powerful Golf, there's little question R32 is a fitting swansong for one of Europe's top-selling models. In Australia, however, only about 70 of them are left, from a limited edition supply of 200 - and VGA is confident they'll be sold before Golf V arrives. The lucky few who've shelled out a cool $63,000 for the small, three-door hatch shouldn't be disappointed with the performance offered by the all-wheel drive R32, which features a Volkswagen Racing-developed, 177kW/320Nm V6.
