But even with a couple of extra doors, the Barina remains an appealing little compact. The new generation is more evolution than revolution, with the main visual difference appearing in the detail. Look for the Astra-like trapezoidal grille, tail-lights positioned high up on the rear pillars and wheelarch flares which run straight into the body's front and rear sections rather than surrounding the wheel in the accustomed manner.
