Super TestCar reviews - Holden - Barina - 5-dr hatchHolden modelsStand Out Features26 Nov 2001 SAFETY, quality and handling characteristics have risen to the fore in Barina's development priorities, which is an uncommon sight in the budget car sphere. Built with Europe in mind, the car finds an excellent blend of ride comfort and handling properties, and a good mix between active and safety features. Consider four-wheel disc brakes, improvements to the steering and suspension, dual airbags as standard and the use of anti-whiplash front head restraints - a feature not often seen in this class. Anti-lock brakes are, however, unavailable on the standard three-door and five-door models, and rear head restraints are nowhere to be found. Did you know? The Barina shape reduces headwind resistance by six per cent compared to the previous modelAll car reviewsAlfa Romeo Abarth Alpine Alpina Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chevrolet Chery Citroen Chrysler Dodge Cupra Ferrari DS Ford Fiat FPV Foton GWM Great Wall Holden Haval HSV Honda Hyundai Hummer Isuzu Infiniti Jeep Jaguar Lamborghini Kia LDV Land Rover Lotus Lexus Maserati Mahindra McLaren Mazda Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG Mini MG Nissan Mitsubishi Peugeot Opel Proton Porsche Renault Ram Rover Rolls-Royce Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla Volvo Volkswagen |
