Super TestCar reviews - Holden - Barina - 5-dr hatchHolden modelsWhat's Changed26 Nov 2001 THE styling changes might be subtle - look for the high-mounted tail-lights for the most obvious clue to the new generation - however, the all-new Barina is longer, wider and taller than its predecessor and has significantly more interior room. Shoulder width is extended by 80mm in the three-door and 75mm in the five-door. Front seat occupants have 15mm more headroom. Legroom in the rear is stretched a further 6mm. Furthermore, interior presentation, engine performance and driving dynamics have also improved. Specification levels have altered substantially, too, with uncommon features such as steering wheel-mounted controls and anti-whiplash front head restraints introduced across the range. Did you know?Barina has a wider track (1417mm front, 1408mm rear) and a longer wheelbase, the latter extended 48mm to 2491mmAll car reviewsAlfa Romeo Abarth Alpine Alpina Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chevrolet Chery Citroen Chrysler Dodge Cupra Ferrari DS Ford Fiat FPV Foton GWM Great Wall Holden Haval HSV Honda Hyundai Hummer Isuzu Infiniti Jeep Jaguar Lamborghini Kia LDV Land Rover Lotus Lexus Maserati Mahindra McLaren Mazda Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG Mini MG Nissan Mitsubishi Peugeot Opel Proton Porsche Renault Ram Rover Rolls-Royce Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla Volvo Volkswagen |
