Super TestCar reviews - Holden - Barina - 5-dr hatchHolden modelsSeats26 Nov 2001 FRONT seat occupants are now sitting in the safest Barina seats to date thanks to the inclusion of active head restraints and belt-force limiters. The front seatbelts also have pyrotechnic pretensioners and the sash can be adjusted for height. The five-door has exclusive access to seat height adjustment. All seating positions have anti-submarining ramps and, bowing to public pressure, Holden has introduced a three-point seatbelt in the centre-rear position. Rear headrests are not provided. The rear seatback splits 60/40, is reinforced and has a hinge locking system designed to protect against a shifting load. Child anchorage points are also located behind the rear seats. Did you know?Anti-submarining seats have nothing to do with the vehicle submerged in water. They are designed to reduce the risk of sliding under the seatbelt in the event of a collisionAll car reviewsAlfa Romeo Abarth Alpine Alpina Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chevrolet Chery Citroen Chrysler Dodge Cupra Ferrari DS Ford Fiat FPV Foton GWM Great Wall Holden Haval HSV Honda Hyundai Hummer Isuzu Infiniti Jeep Jaguar Lamborghini Kia LDV Land Rover Lotus Lexus Maserati Mahindra McLaren Mazda Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG Mini MG Nissan Mitsubishi Peugeot Opel Proton Porsche Renault Ram Rover Rolls-Royce Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla Volvo Volkswagen |
