The 1595cc, eight-valve four-cylinder engine has multi-point fuel injection and a variable intake manifold and develops 74kW at 5600rpm and 145Nm at 3800rpm. An aluminium block keeps the kilos down, although kerb weight is more than 1150kg. Not surprisingly, GL's performance is uninspiring - expect 12.6 sec for the 0-100km/h burst. It will be economical, but demands PULP. Did you know? The spark-ignition engine is now 30mm narrower which helps maximise body deformation volume in the nose area in the event of a crashAll car reviewsAlfa Romeo Abarth Alpine Alpina Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chevrolet Chery Citroen Chrysler Dodge Cupra Ferrari DS Ford Fiat FPV Foton GWM Great Wall Holden Haval HSV Honda Hyundai Hummer Isuzu Infiniti Jeep Jaguar Lamborghini Kia LDV Land Rover Lotus Lexus Maserati Mahindra McLaren Mazda Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG Mini MG Nissan Mitsubishi Peugeot Opel Proton Porsche Renault Ram Rover Rolls-Royce Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla Volvo Volkswagen |
