The Japanese giant says it will be the first automotive company to employ Samsung’s new transparent LCD screens at a major motor show, using 30 of the 46-inch units in a specially built structure on the Toyota stand. Details of the event, which will be streamed live on the web on January 14, were announced today, along with another teaser shot of the Furia, showing a taillight with LED highlights and a unique bubble effect within the lens. In December, Toyota released a teaser video of Furia, revealing a four-door sedan in silhouette, along with glimpses of headlights, taillights and other details. Carbon-fibre details such as a rear boot-lip spoiler and side skirts hints at Furia’s sporting intent.
