Hyundai’s large-sized Genesis sedan arrived in Australia in November 2014, and brought with it value-packed luxury.
The Aussie delivered Genesis came with a 3.8-litre GDi V6, packing 232kW of power and 397Nm of torque, coupled with Hyundai’s own eight-speed automatic transmission sending power to the rear wheels.
However, it is the list of equipment that impressed the most, featuring nine airbags, autonomous braking, cruise control, lane departure warning, electronic brake for distribution and vehicle stability management.
The Genesis measured in at 4990mm long and the rear-seats also featured controls to slide the front passenger seat forward and climate controls, which made the Hyundai a viable bargain luxury sedan.
