Super TestCar reviews - Holden - Astra - City 3-dr hatchHolden modelsWhat's Changed24 Aug 2001 By BRUCE NEWTON THE three-door model reduces the entry-level price of the Astra but retains the same mechanicals and interior and exterior dimensions as the five-door. Not constrained by rear doors, the designers have been able to give the car a sportier profile. The doors are substantially bigger and the front seats have a tilt/slide function with memory for good access to the rear. The front track remains the same as the City five-door hatch but is 12mm narrower at the rear. Kerb weight is also up 33kg compared to the equivalent five-door. With a City specification, the Astra mirrors the equipment level of the equivalent five-door. Did you know? The Astra is Opel's best-selling model, with around 620,000 cars sold per year worldwideAll car reviewsAlfa Romeo Abarth Alpine Alpina Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chevrolet Chery Citroen Chrysler Dodge Cupra Ferrari DS Ford Fiat FPV Foton GWM Great Wall Holden Haval HSV Honda Hyundai Hummer Isuzu Infiniti Jeep Jaguar Lamborghini Kia LDV Land Rover Lotus Lexus Maserati Mahindra McLaren Mazda Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG Mini MG Nissan Mitsubishi Peugeot Opel Proton Porsche Renault Ram Rover Rolls-Royce Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla Volvo Volkswagen |
