Super TestCar reviews - Holden - Astra - City 3-dr hatchHolden modelsLuggage24 Aug 2001 By BRUCE NEWTON MIRRORING the five-door hatch in its cargo volume, the three-door offers 380 litres to the top of the seatback, 710 litres when the 60/40 split-fold is in operation and 1180 litres to the roof when the rear seat is down. Basically, it's a pretty sizable cargo space for a small car, with little rear suspension intrusion. Inclusion of a skiport is also welcome, enabling longer items to be carried without the seats being folded. A full-size spare wheel and jack is located in a well underneath the cargo floor, while small items can be stored in a box in the left-hand trim and secured with rubber straps. A button on the tailgate is the main entry point - there's no lever in the cockpit and no release button on the remote keypad. Did you know?Child seat anchorage points are located near the tailgate, restricting luggage space whenever a child seat is in placeAll car reviewsAlfa Romeo Abarth Alpine Alpina Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chevrolet Chery Citroen Chrysler Dodge Cupra Ferrari DS Ford Fiat FPV Foton GWM Great Wall Holden Haval HSV Honda Hyundai Hummer Isuzu Infiniti Jeep Jaguar Lamborghini Kia LDV Land Rover Lotus Lexus Maserati Mahindra McLaren Mazda Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG Mini MG Nissan Mitsubishi Peugeot Opel Proton Porsche Renault Ram Rover Rolls-Royce Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla Volvo Volkswagen |
