Released: Feb 2023

Kick-butt off road Dakar Rally inspired Lambo runs a raucous 5.2-litre V10 boasting 448kW and 560Nm paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. It has an electronically controlled all-wheel drive system with mechanical self-locking rear diff’ and is capable of a 0-100km/h time of just 3.4 seconds. Pricing? Expected to be over $400,000 + ORC.

Iconic supercar-maker Lamborghini will rip the lid off its Aventador with a drop-top version to arrive in Australia in late 2013. The Aventador Roadster will be powered by a 515kW 6.5-litre V12 that can match the coupe’s 350km/h top speed. A 17 per cent price jump over the coupe means Australian buyers can expect to pay around $880,000.

In line with Lamborghini tradition, the Aventador is named after a fighting bull, while its 515kW V12 engine helps it gallop to 100km/h in a mind-bending 2.9 seconds.

Released: Nov 2010

A collaboration between Lamborghini and Swiss watch-maker Blancpain, the limited-run LP 570-4 will have a large fixed rear spoiler and unique engine cover derived directly from the race cars in the one-make Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo racing series. A dry weight of just 1340kg combined with a 419kW 5.2-litre V10 will result in acceleration from 0-100km/h in 3.4 seconds.

Lamborghini is expected to launch its Murcielago LP670-4 Super Veloce in February, with its 6.5-litre V12 producing up to 500kW (670hp) while cutting weight by 100kg. Expect the AWD Lambo flagship to command a circa-$850,000 pricetag, with up to just four headed Down Under from 350 globally.

Released: Jan 2004

The 373kW AWD Gallardo was shown at the 2003 Sydney show, where it was also priced at $399,000 for the six-speed manual and $424,500 for the E-Gear model. At that stage there were already 27 deposits for Murcielago's little brother - a rival for Ferrari's 360M - which goes on sale in January.
