Peugeot’s mid-sized all-electric E-3008 might make it here this month joining other Peugeot electric models including the E-2008 and E-Partner – the E-3008 is offered with a choice of three powertrains in its home market. Range listed at up to 700km.

Deliveries of the 408 GT Fastback plug-in hybrid (PHEV) have commenced ahead of schedule, but supply is fully allocated. Demonstrator vehicles are now available for customer test drives. The fastback PHEV “stands out from the crowd,” says Peugeot.

PEUGEOT’s well equipped all electric e-2008 small SUV arrives with constrained availability and is equipped with a 50kWh battery and 100kW/260Nm electric motor with a range of 328km (WLTP). Recharge from 10 to 80 per cent may take 30 mins on a 100kW DC appliance, more on domestic power.

Peugeot’s BEV small van is same dimensionally as ICE model with 100kW/260Nm electric motor driving the front wheels through a 50kWh battery. Claimed 258km range, priced 33 per cent more than ICE.

Peugeot Australia has launched plug-in hybrid variants of its 3008 GT Sport medium SUV and 508 GT Fastback medium sedan that offer combined outputs of 222kW and 165kW respectively.

Peugeot Australia has added a GT Sport variant to its 5008 range and announced spec upgrades – and price increases – for its 2008, 3008, 508 and 5008 models, as well as its range of LCVs.

Dubbed by Peugeot as a “small urban adventure vehicle”, the 2008 arrived Down Under priced from $34,990 plus on-road and underpinned by the French brand’s Common Modular Platform (CMP).

Peugeot is hoping to shake up the mid-size segment when it releases the second-generation 508 sedan and wagon. Packing style and technology in equal measure, it will play a key role in the French brand’s resurgence in Australia.

Peugeot aims to reinvigorate the brand’s position in Australia, launching the new 5008 as a highly-specified, premium seaven-seater. The mid-size SUV will start at $42,990 plus on-road costs.
