The limited-edition 911 Speedster will be sold in Australia in strictly limited numbers, as only 356 will be built. The 300kW 3.8-litre flat-six from the GTS provides power and the wide-bodied, rear-wheel drive Speedster has several exclusive features including a 60mm-lower windscreen and 'double-bubble' hard cover for when the soft-top is stowed.

The 911 Carrera GTS will be available in both coupe and cabriolet body styles and come engine and chassis upgrades compared to the Carrera S on which it is based. The GTS also runs a more powerful (300kW) version of the 283kW 3.8-litre direct-injection flat six from the latest Carrera S, making it almost as powerful as the GT3, which has 320kW.

Porsche should release its next 911 Turbo Cabriolet in September. Powered by the same 353kW 3.6-litre twin-turbo boxer as the Turbo coupe, the soft-top differs from the 911 Cabriolet with wider wheel-arches, intake scoops and a pop-up wing. It'll offer both a six-speed manual and a five-speed auto.

Porsche will release its latest derivative of the 911 range, the Carrera 4S Cabriolet, in Australia by November - not long after the car's official European launch. Pricing has been set at $251,600 while, as with all Tiptronic S-equipped 911 models, the auto version will cost an extra $8000.

Porsche will release the first 911 Turbo Cabriolet in 14 years Down Under following its debut at the Sydney motor show in October. Powered by the same 309kW twin-turbo boxer as the coupe, the soft-top Turbo is differentiated from the 911 Cabriolet by wider wheel arches, intake scoops and a pop-up wing.
