Volvo XC40 arrives this month in hybrid petrol/electric and pure EV form only so no solely ICE cars at all. Prices rise $4500 to $5500 model dependent starting with XC40 Plus B4 FWD at $52,990+ORC. 

By all accounts, Volvo has nailed this first step in its plan to become an all-electric car-maker by the end of this decade.

Volvo’s new-model rollout continues with the XC40 crossover that is built on an all-new platform and will compete against a number of small high-riders including the Audi Q2 and BMW X2.
