Model: 488 - GTB

Released: Aug 2015

Ferrari has replaced its popular 458 with the 488 GTB. Powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.9-litre V8, that makes it one of the fastest road-going Ferraris yet, the 488 will be in Australian showrooms by year's end.

Make: Mazda

Model: Mazda2 - Sedan

Released: Aug 2015

The booted version of Mazda's entry level hatchback will arrive in late 2015 and will offer a sedan alternative to the Mazda2 hatchback. Expect the new shape to be available with the same engine and transmission options as the existing Mazda2.

Model: XC90

Released: Aug 2015

Volvo's next-generation XC90 large SUV should surface globally in 2014 and will feature the Swedish brand's lightweight new scalable architecture and members of its new four-cylinder engine range. A plug-in hybrid or fully electric model is also likely.

Subaru's high performance WRX range received extra kit and price adjustments in a mild 2015 update. Extra features included larger 18-inch wheels and a standard 6.2-inch touchscreen centrepiece.

Model: C4

Released: Aug 2015

Citroen is hoping the inclusion of the sprightly 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine from the Peugeot 308, and the addition of new standard safety and comfort gear, including a reversing camera, will rev up interest in its refreshed C4 hatch.

Developed and engineered in Australia, Ford promises passenger comfort and agile handling are key to the large-sized Everest's strengths. The high-riding wagon is based on the Ranger ute and is likely to be a diesel only proposition in Australia.
