Model: Sonata

Released: Feb 2015

After a few delays, the Sonata nameplate will return to Australia to compete in the mid-size sedan segment. Selling alongside the smaller i40 range, the Sonata will remain a sedan and petrol-only model.

Model: Mazda6

Released: Feb 2015

Subtle styling tweaks to the Mazda6 will arrive alongside a boost in technology, improved ride and comfort that will represent better value for money for buyers. Mazda will also look to capitalise on fleet buyers with its updated Mazda6.

Model: C4 Picasso

Released: Feb 2015

Joining the Citroen line-up in early 2015 will be the C4 Picasso, a five-seater that will sit below the already released seven-seat C4 Grand Picasso.

Model: Giulietta - QV

Released: Feb 2015

Alfa Romeo's top-spec small-sized hatchback Guilietta will be arriving wearing a QV badge, denoting higher performance derived from the same engine as the Alfa 4C.

Make: Honda

Model: HR-V

Released: Feb 2015

After 14 years, the sub-compact HR-V SUV will return to the Australian market. This time based on the Jazz light car, all four variants will be powered by a 1.8-litre four-cylinder petrol engine matched with a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

Make: Alfa Romeo

Model: 4C

Released: Feb 2015

Alfa's 4C sportscar is confirmed for Australia and will be powered by the same 173kW 1.75-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine as the top-shelf Giulietta QV, but mid-mounted and driving the rear wheels via a six-speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission. A kerb weight target of less than 850kg enables a sprint to 100km/h in less than five seconds.

Make: Mercedes-Benz

Model: B-Class

Released: Feb 2015

Two years after the launch of the current-generation model, Mercedes-Benz will introduce a facelift for its B-Class tall-boy hatch to better compete with BMW’s upcoming 2 Series Active Tourer. Minor cosmetic changes are expected to the front and rear, while in the cabin, new trim materials and colours will be available and the infotainment system will also receive upgrades.

Audi’s next-generation sportscar will hit Australian shores at the beginning of 2015 and although the styling is more evolutionary than revolutionary, expect more powerful engines and better fuel efficiency.

Model: 308 - GT

Released: Feb 2015

Peugeot's warmed-over 308 is expected to arrive in early 2015 wearing a GT badge, offering a little more zing without bothering the hot hatch champions. The GT will sit below the still-yet-to-be confirmed GTi.

Model: RC - F

Released: Feb 2015

Lexus' high-performing RC F is set to arrive in early 2015, naturally-aspirated V8 donk and all. Set to take on the Germans at their own high-powered sports coupe game, expect to see the RC F priced sharper than its rivals.

In February Lexus introduced a turbocharged four-cylinder variant into its NX SUV lineup. Called the 200t, the engine is to be used in a number of Lexus models in the future.

Released: Feb 2015

Even though pricing and specification is yet to be confirmed, Reanult's small-sized SUV is a lock to land on Australian shores in early 2015. The Captur's delay came as a result of updating the model to meet stringent Australian safety standards.

Model: Celerio

Released: Feb 2015

Suzuki's replacement for the micro-sized Alto will arrive in early 2015 in the form of the Celerio. Built out of Thailand, Suzuki hopes to take the fight for the micro-sized car crown to the popular Mitsubishi Mirage.

Model: 458 - Speciale A

Released: Feb 2015

Ferrari's track focused 458 Speciale is receiving an open-top variant. Able to shoot from 0-100km/h in 3.0 seconds, the 458 Speciale A is Ferrari's fastest street-legal convertible to date.
