Released: Apr 2010

BMW’s Concept X1 is expected to go virtually unchanged into production. BMW's smallest crossover will enter the compact SUV market dominated by the likes of Toyota’s RAV4, Subaru's Forester and the Honda CR-V, plus VW's Tiguan. Power will come from a range of petrol and turbo-diesel engines.

Model: Rio

Released: Apr 2010

Kia’s smallest model, the light-sized Rio, will gain a minor refresh in early 2010, ahead of its replacement in 2011. The new-look MkIII Rio will brandish Kia’s new H-shaped grille design, and should continue to be available with its 1.4 and 1.6-litre four-cylinder petrol engines.

Model: 911 - Sport Classic

Porsche’s 911 Sport Classic heralds a return to limited edition models. The Sport Classic features a ‘ducktail’ rear spoiler, unique front and rear design treatments, a new double-dome roof new side sills, redesigned front and rear lights. Power is via a 300kW 3.8-litre boxer-six engine.

The latest iteration of Porsche’s born-to-race GT3 RS Coupe is set to serve up even more devastating racetrack performance than its celebrated forebears. Lighter, more aerodynamic and more powerful, the RS delivers even more performance than the GT3 with 331kW, 11kW more than the GT3.

Model: Boxster - Spyder

Released: Apr 2010

Porsche lifted the lid on a more powerful and more focused version of its Boxster convertible at the Los Angeles motor show. The Boxster Spyder will be positioned above the regular Boxster and Boxster S, and is designed to appeal directly to penchants of stripped-out ‘Speedster’ versions of the 911 and iconic 356.
