Make: Subaru

Model: Outback

Released: Feb 2016

The larger models in Subaru's line-up, the Outback and the Liberty, are due for an update in February. The update comes after both models were released at the end of 2014.

Make: Fiat

Model: 124 - Spider

Released: Feb 2016

Fiat will team up with Japanese car-maker Mazda to produce the next-generation 124 Spider, based on the MX-5 roadster. The twins under the skin will be built using Mazda’s SkyActiv architecture, although each car will feature unique styling and be powered by different engines. The resurrected Spider will be built in Japan but Fiat will tune it in Italy.

Make: Infiniti

Model: Q70

Released: Feb 2016

Infiniti's Q70 sedan is set for an upgrade in February 2016. Aimed at competing with BMW's 5 Series and Mercedes' E-Class, the Q70 will hope to improve on its paltry 2015 sales.

Make: Ferrari

Model: 488 - GTB

Released: Feb 2016

Ferrari's replacement for the celebrated 458, the 488, arrives in Australia in February. It uses a hotter version of the 3.9-litre V8 used in the California T, putting out 492kW/760Nm.

Make: Hyundai

Model: Elantra

Released: Feb 2016

Hyundai's updated version of its Elantra small car is set to arrive Down Under in February. The new version will have an updated engine, as well as a sporty version that will use the 1.6-litre turbo engine used in the Veloster SR Turbo.

Make: Volkswagen

Model: Passat - Alltrack

Released: Feb 2016

Volkswagen's soft-road version of its mid-sized Passat arrives on Australian shores early in 2016. It is likely to be sold as a single variant employing a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine.

Make: Lexus

Model: GS - F

Released: Feb 2016

In February Lexus will release their GS F, aimed squarely at the BMW M5 and Mercedes-AMG E63. The F will be powered by a 5.0L naturally aspirated V8, which will produce roughly 350kW of power.

Make: Jaguar

Model: XF

Released: Feb 2016

Jaguar is launching its new XF mid-sized sedan in February, offering five engine variants and four levels of spec. Priced between $82,800 and $128,200, it will compete with European rivals such as the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

Make: Infiniti

Model: Q30

Released: Feb 2016

Infiniti plans to grow its line-up in the coming years to include a number of smaller models, including a BMW 1 Series and Audi A3 luxury hatch rival. Taking its cues from the Etherea concept that debuted at the 2011 Geneva motor show, the C-segment car will be based on the same MFA platform that underpins the Mercedes-Benz A- and B-Class.

Make: Peugeot

Model: 308 - GTi

Released: Feb 2016

Peugeot's long-awaited 308 GTi will finally arrive in Australia in 2016, bringing with it a Volkswagen Golf GTI-crushing 200kW engine. The new French hot hatch will also compete against the likes of the Ford Focus ST, Subaru WRX, Renault Megane RS And Holden Astra VXR.

Model: C4 Cactus

Released: Feb 2016

Citroen's quirky C4 Cactus is set to arrive towards the end of 2015, bringing with it wacky styling and, hopefully, an affordable price that has seen it become a sales hit overseas.
